วิทยานิพนธ์นี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 2 ประการ คือ 1) เพื่อศึกษาเนื้อหาการประทุษวาจาในอรรถกถา
แปล ฉบับมหามกุฎราชวิทยาลัย และ 2) เพื่อศึกษากลวิธีการใช้ภาษาในการประทุษวาจาในอรรถกถาแปล ฉบับมหามกุฎราชวิทยาสัย เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยศึกษาอรรถกถาแปล พระสุตตันปิฎก ขุททกนิกาย ชาดก ฉบับมหามกุฎราชวิทยาลัย ภาค 1 เล่ม 1-7 และ ภาค 2 เล่ม 1-3 จำนวน 547 เรื่อง ปรากฎเนื้อหาการประทุษวาจา จำนวน 37 เรื่อง
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1. เนื้อหาการประทุษวาจาในอรรถกถาแปล วิเคราะห์ได้ 3 ประเด็น
คือ 1) การประทุษวาจาของพระโพธิสัตว์ต่อตัวละครอื่น ได้แก่ การดูถูก การรู้กลลวง การคบชู้
การเสี่ยงโชค การขาดสติ 2) การประทุษวาจาของตัวละครอื่นต่อพระโพธิสัตว์ ได้แก่ การดูถูก
การเยาะเย้ย การสี่ยงโชค การขาดสติ และ 3) การประทุษวาจาของตัวละครอื่นต่อตัวละครอื่น ได้แก่ การดูถูก การเข้าใจผิดการติสังขาร การเยาะเย้ย การคบชู้ การรู้กลลวง การขาดสติการละโมบ และ 2. กลวิธีการใช้ภาษในการประทุษวาจานอรรถกถาแปล วิเคราะห์ได้ 3 ประเด็น คือ
1) กลวิธี การประทุษวาจาของพระโพธิสัตว์ต่อตัวละครอื่น ได้แก่ การใช้คำความหมายเชิงลบ การใช้คำประชดประชัน การใช้คำทำให้กลัว การใช้คำเปรียบเชิงลบ การใช้คำนัยผกผัน การใช้คำอุทาน ความหมายเชิงลบ การใช้คำเรียกบุคคล (อาลปนะ) 2) กลวิธีการประทุษวาจาของตัวละครอื่นต่อ พระโพธิสัตว์ ได้แก่ การใช้คำความหมายเชิงลบ การใช้คำหยาบ การใช้คำประชุดประชัน การใช้ คำทำให้กลัว การใช้คำอุทานความหมายเชิงลบ และ 3) กลวิธีการประทุษวาจาของตัวละครอื่นต่อตัว ละครอื่น ได้แก่ การใช้คำความหมายเชิงลบ การใช้คำหยาบ การใช้ถ้อยคำเปรียบเชิงลบ การใช้คำ เรียกบุคคล (อาลปนะ) การใช้คำอุทานในความหมายเชิงลบ การใช้คำทำให้กลัว การใช้คำไม่ยอมรับ การใช้คำนัยผกผัน และการใช้คำประชดประชัน การประทุษวาจาทั้งเนื้อหาและกลวิธีการใช้ภาษามี ความสัมพันธ์กันอย่างแน่นแฟ้น และนำไปสู่ความขัดแย้งอันเป็นโครงเรื่องที่สร้างอรรถรสได้อย่าง เข้มข้น ทั้งช่วยให้เข้าใจ เห็นใจ และเข้าถึงหลักธรรมในชีวิตได้ดียิ่งขึ้น

This thesis has 3 purposes as; 1) to study the content of hate speech in
Mahamakut Buddhist University version of translated commentaries and 2) to study
language technique in Mahamakut Buddhist University version of translated
commentaries. This is the qualitative research studying Mahamakut Buddhist
University version of translated commentaries of Sutta Pitaka, Khuddaka Nikaya,
Jataka part 1 volume 1 - 7 and part 2 volume 1 - 3, making in total 547 stories. And
there are 37 stories with content of hate speech.
The study result has been found that the content of hate speech in the
translated commentaries could be analyzed into 3 points as; 1) the hate speech of
Bodhisattva to other characters, with disparagement, finding out the tricks, committing
adultery, gambling and losing one's senses; 2) the hate speech of other characters to
Bodhisattva, with disparagement, ridicule, gambling and losing one's senses; and 3)
the hate speech of other characters to one another, with disparagement,
misunderstanding, body shaming, ridicule, committing adultery, finding out the tricks,
losing one's senses and greed. The language technique of hate speech in the
translated commentaries could be analyzed into 3 points as; 1) the technique of the
of Bodhisattva's hate speech to other characters, namely, the use of negative words,
sarcastic words, threatening words, negative-figurative words, inversion, exclamations
in negative meaning, addressing others ("อาลปนะ" (alapana)); 2) the technique of the
of other characters' hate speech to Bodhisattva, namely, the use of the negative
words, vulgar language, sarcastic words, threatening words, exclamations in negative
meaning; and 3) the technique of the other characters' hate speech to one another,
namely, the use of negative words, vulgar language, negative-figurative words,
addressing others("อาลปนะ" (alapana)), exclamations in negative meaning, threatening
words, words of disapproval, inversion, and sarcastic words. The content and language
technique of hate speech are strongly bound. And they have brought to conflict as
the plot creating intense beautiful wording, making it more understandable, having
sympathy and approaching dharmic principle in life better.
